| INGLESE-ITALIANO | | "Learning English through Culture and Heritage" e' un corso di autoapprendimento di inglese per studenti che hanno una conoscenza della lingua e sono interessati a combinare l'apprendimento linguistico con aspetti storici e culturali. Il corso e' strutturato in 24 unita', organizzate in 6 moduli cronologici, che tuttavia non vincolano il percorso didattico, offrendo l'opportunita' di scegliere gli argomenti storici preferiti. La natura multimediale della proposta permette di usufruire di strumenti audio e video combinati fra loro, immagini e testi digitali. Ogni unita' comprende un testo iniziale che introduce il lettore ad uno specifico linguaggio, a particolari situazioni comunicative e una serie di esercizi per mettere alla prova la ricettivita' e sviluppare la conoscenza dei vocaboli e della grammatica. In aggiunta, ogni modulo e' completato da due aree di competenza linguistica: il "laboratorio" e "Il tuo turno". Il laboratorio contiene alcune attivita' didattiche finalizzate a migliorare le capacita' di scrittura e di ricerca dei vocaboli. Il "tuo turno" ha la funzione di favorire l'approccio orale alla lingua inglese. Completano il corso una sezione grammaticale ed un glossario. | | Inizio | |
| INGLESE | Learning English through Culture and Heritage is a self-access hypermedia course. It is intended for use in an academic and non-native setting and for students studying at an intermediate level. The course is divided into:
* six MODULES ranging from pre-historic Britain up until the present day. The modules contain a total of 24 units. Each unit includes a set of excercises with solutions and the auto-correction function. The integrated GRAMMAR SECTION and GLOSSARY provide the students with all the tools needed to successfully complete the self-access part of the course.
* WORKSHOP: the Workshop is an "open area" for the development of writing and research skills.
* YOUR TURN!: this section completes the approach to receptive skills by helping the student practice speaking skills. Here the student can record his or her voice and compare the result with an example given by a mothertongue speaker.
